i just got a Casio lk-215, my first keyboard, im totally new to playing.

im wondering how i can get new songs in the song bank, is there software i can use to tinker with the lights or put my own stuff in there? firmware hacks or anything?

would anyone be able to point me in the direction of useful links such as community websites or software/tutorials that may be helpful to a new player?

thanks.

As far as I know with this keyboard, there is no way to record or otherwise insert songs into its internal memory. If you have an SM card reader, you can put midi files on it and play those on the keyboard (RTM for more), but I don't know if the keys light when you do that.

As a general point, firmware hacks for any keyboards are very rare indeed, and since this keyboard is not widely used by people who do that sort of thing, I doubt you'd find anything.
