Hi, I'm KB Tandoh and I just bought a Yamaha PSR-540
I have some style files on my computer but I don't have a floppy disk or floppy disk reader to transfer my styles to the keyboard
I want to send the styles straight to the keyboard from my windows 7 PC via MIDI IN and OUT cables. Is it possible?

I'm not sure.

The usual method of transferring files from a computer to a Yamaha keyboard is to use the Musicsoft Downloader program to do it:

However, the keyboard model can make a difference, as the Musicsoft Downloader isn't able to communicate with all models. It's a free program, so if you want to try it, you'll need a USB-MIDI adapter cable, such as the mio from iConnectivity:

But I don't know whether the Musicsoft Downloader will recognize the make and model of keyboard when connected that way.
