Set up for nektar lx88+

Hey all,
I was recently given a nektar lx88+ midi keyboard, and am looking for a really easy set up. I would like to be able to make electronic music with it but also use it purely as a piano.

Would love some advice on a full set up of software, amp, speakers etc. a set up that won’t break the bank.

Can a midi keyboard be played without a computer connection?

If it has DIN MIDI ports and a power supply you can connect it to a GM module without a computer.

Add a small amp or powered speakers and you'd be good to go.
