While I can't speak as to the legality of these tracks, there's a wide assortment of popular MIDIs on the web.

Some are great and some are garbage and you will have to go thru them to weed out the bad ones, but with the good ones you'll be able to edit them on the computer to get them to sound like you want them to.

Pretty much any song you'd want, legally, for about $3.

That said.

I should have mentioned, that I am looking for the original ( CD ) performance tracks, just the keyboard track. ( Soloed )
out of 100+ songs we have only 20 or so songs that we need these samples for, so hiring a keyboard player would not be cost affective.

Honestly, while you can probably find what you're looking for, it will likely be more work and take more time than just picking up a keyboard player.

And Don, I'm a drummer too (made my living doing that for years). ;)

Ooooooo!!!!

Ooooooo!!!!

Insert obligatory drummer jokes here >

Q) How many drummers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

A) None! They have machines that do that now!

:D

Q) What's the difference between a drummer and a savings bond?

A) Savings bonds eventually mature!

:D

Q) What's the difference between a drummer and a chiropodist?

A) A chiropodist bucks up your feet!

:D :D :D

Thank you! Thank you!!! We'll be here all week ;)

RonE, two of my closest friends are drummers, so I just couldn't help myself....lol. I've owned a set of electronic drums in the past, so it's somewhat also an inside joke on my part. (l still have a Les Paul and a Fender bass, but the drums eventually went to my very talented nephew.) Don

No worries Don. I started learning piano in 1954, took lessons until '61, and didn't pickup my first drumsticks until 1967 when I sat in for somebody at a high school party. It was fun, so I convinced my parents to get me my first kit. I love music in general, in almost all of its' forms; but keyboards are my real passion.
