Something similar to the microKORG?

I need a hand.
I'm buying a new keyboard around christmas time, and as well as this I'm thinking of purchasing a microKORG synthesizer. Now, £250/$500 isn't a problem for me, but I was wondering if there's a synth similar to the microKORG but at a cheaper price.

The only synth I have found at a low price is the alesis micron. It costs about the same as the microkorg. I think it's better than the microkorg. I played the korg at guitar center and they have these awful spongey mini-keys.
