Depends on what you are trying to achieve . You can layer 2 sounds by using the R1 and R2 using the conductor main panel, if we are talking sound edit then that is a totally different set up entirely, as in sound edit you can layer up to 4 individual TONES (Basic Sound Samples) how complex do you want to go? I suggest going to www.technicskn7000.com where there is an article regarding Tones also there are members there who can go into greater depth. They cover all Technics operating systems inc. PCM and NX (KN6000 +)
