Hey everyone! I am looking to see if this even exists. I was hoping to get a small rack to use for gigs where I could place 2 mixers on top of each other - one to submix my 5 keyboards in stereo and send a stereo L-R out, and one to use as an effects loop for 3 microphones that will all submix out to one XLR.
In an ideal world, I imagine two mixers that have the console on the side face with aux sends and returns and therefore could be stacked directly on top of each other and placed in a case for easy travel. The problem is that the only side-facing full mixers with flat tops I can find are powered mixers, when I really want unpowered. I have found some rack-style simple mixers that are side facing and unpowered, but the ones I found are only inputs and main outs and don’t include aux sends or returns which I need.
Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist? Or is there something out there for me? The one for my keyboards could be 1/4” inputs only, but I prefer XLR inputs for the vocal sub mixer.
