They are indeed heavy. But, they do break down into two parts for transport. The CP70 was one of the few "portable" pianos back in the day. They have a harp assy and real strings, and pick-ups with balanced outputs (XLR). They have a somewhat unique sound , but back in the day they were used by a lot of pros who wanted to approximate the sound and feel of a real piano. I gigged with a CP70 and Hammond B3 w/leslie , and likeed the sounds at the time. I still have my road weary CP70, although it is rarely played. Don
