Intro taken directly from tomato soup advert-----is somehow relevant.
So , my Roland Vr-09 ----just two months old-----has been throwing up all sorts of odd noises when on 'split' ---often when changing instruments ----even after writing registrations , they often are very different from what was set-up---usually the organ (left) which loses its 'hammond' tone. -----So it could just be me-----BUT then during Friday band night------playing an aminor ----it sounded in next octave 'squeak' ---two bars later it was OK. The last straw ----with just 4 numbers to go in the set-----played a G chord which continued to sound----the keyboard was unresponsive----had to switch it off. So contacted Thoman , awaiting reply. Really gutted, I suppose you only get what you pay for------but there do not seem to be any boards out there at similar price with the classic drawbar organ sounds. So heres hoping that they can give me a replacement that works as it should------however if these boards have significant software issues that are inherent----what now ben?
