What the Heck Are Points?

This is a question for Ian or Becky.

My profile reads 992 posted messages, 91 likes and 0 Points.

So I'm willing to bite. What the heck are points and how do we get them?

It's something I've not enabled on the site, as I wasn't sure how much use it would be.

Basically, the forum software can award members points for certain things - such as reaching "x" number or posts, or getting "x" number of likes. It's a bit like an awards system I suppose!

If people would find this useful, then I'm more than happy to try it out and see how it works .

I dunno Ian. Personally I only post here for personal satisfaction and the benefits of spreading information.

I'm not in it for a "hero biscuit."
