what's the best portable synth?

Hello guys i'm a totaly newb so i'm planning to buy a portable synth (three octaves or something) I don't really care about the price so any ideas ?which is the best one ?

Every keyboard has it strengths and weaknesses, so it really depends on
the music you want to play and features you need on a keyboard.
What is "good" for one player may not fit the needs of another player.
There really is no "best one" that meets everybody's needs.

Get yourself to a music store and form your own opinion.

yap i can understand this. but could you give some solutions to choose from because i'm realy lost

aww and about what kind of music.. well jazz or rock (like doors ) i would realy like if the synth could produce a b3 , vox continental or rhodes sound .. thanx for the help anyway

Synths don't produce good organ and electric piano sounds. Look for those in a workstation, arranger keyboard, or stage piano.

Fair enough. Just don't look to a synth to get better ones (or, don't make the mistake of calling all keyboards 'synthesizers'.)
