TR is not a Triton series keyboard. It won't be discontinued in the near future cause it is the "new" Triton LE. If you look at the pictures you'll notice that they are
the same keyboard except the color on the outside, but on the inside TR has
double size ROM (TR=64, LE=32), and has some new sounds taken from the Oasys
(they say the piano is taken from Oasys but it sux big time).
Both keyboards come in 61, 76 and 88 keys versions (88 are weighted keys).
TR has 64 voice polyphony, Juno G has 128. TR has waaaaaay better
arpeggios, and a lot more of them, has the sampling option as an extra
plug in board, and you can load most of the sounds from the Triton series,
but they won't sound the same cause TR uses only 1 insert effect for all
8 tracks in combi mode.
Oh, yea... TR has decent keys for that price range. They are not plasticky
and they are not semi-weighted like the ones on my Motif, but they are
somewhere in the middle.
Just try both keyboards. I had the TR so I know what I'm talking about,
but since I haven't tried Juno G, I can't say much about it...
You'll just have to try both of them, and before that - make a list
of what you need and expect from a keyboard you're buying.
