Yamaha DGX-670 coming tomorrow wondering about features for Synthesia?

Hi, I ordered the Yamaha DGX-670 for using alongside Synthesia to learn and play new songs. I have been recommended this keyboard from their website but haven’t found anything on Google or YouTube that tells whether or not it has lights under the keys.

Can I expect a good setup like this guy here?:

Or will I have to build my own?

Welcome.

As far as I am aware it does not, lighted keys are the domain of some of the beginner level Casio and Yamaha keyboards.

I’d be a little concerned if I had smoking keys

Tried Synthesia but cannot get my head around the scrolling down format.

Good luck with the DP.

The DGX-670 does not have lighted keys. I think the only lighted-keys keyboards that Yamaha makes are in their EZ line, such as the EZ-300.

I only see keyboards with semi-weighted keys showing up with the lighted keys feature… is there an 88 key fully weighted piano with lighted keys?

Hi, could you recommend a newer keyboard with the lighted keys feature that doesn’t compromise the weighted keys? I am hoping to make a setup like the one in the video I posted earlier.

Or, should I keep the DGX-670 for practice?
