so I have in my possession a yamaha gs2 in mint condition. I want to know more about ,if any one has any insight on how many were made, and what is might be worth. I am all ears.
All the magnetic strips work great, but changing the batteries in the back is always a hassle.
1981 was a long time ago, but it sounds and plays great.

Hard to say. They're not exactly everyday items on eBay. I reckon you'd need to find a collector of vintage synth gear and be prepared to haggle. 2 operator FM synths generally go for less than $50, but that is a VERY special 2-op FM synth.

Manual still available on Yamaha Japan website. Sound on Sound did a history of FM synthesis a few years ago that mostly concentrated on the GS1, but there is some info on the GS2 in there.
