Yamaha PSR-540 Power Supply Replacement

Good Afternoon,

Have a quick question regarding which Power Supply to purchase for a used Yamaha PSR-540 Keyboard I picked up recently. I am wondering if I should purchase the OEM Yamaha PA-6 that the manual states or would it be bad to purchase an after market knock off? Anyone had any luck with non Yamaha power supplies for their keyboards? Any help is appreciated.

as long as it uses a standard connector, is regulated, and supplies exact voltage and equal or greater amperage any Chinese power brick will do an equal, if not better job.
