MPK249 automatic pitch bends?

Hi,

I have this problem that my AKAI MPK249 is doing automatic small pitch bends/detuning midi all the time even though the pitch bend wheel is set to 0.
The same issue occurs with both Logic and Ableton, and other keyboards work fine.
Anyone else has experienced this with Akai or any other keyboard?

Could be the pitchbend wheel sending spurious data even though it is set to zero. If it is possible in the menu system disable the pitchwheel and see if the symptoms stop, if they do then you know it is the pitch bend drifting and causing the issue. Another thing you can try is to hold the pitch bend wheel down and let it snap back. Do this a dozen or so times in both directions, i.e. hold it down and let it snap back up and also hold it up and let it snap back down. Sometimes this fixes the issue for a period of time.
