Hi, i am listening to linda ronstadt's song as posted by becky. The intro is quite a short quaint rif. What i noticed is that rif ripples its way through the whole song. It is in between the verses. i think if you lift this small rif from the main body of the song and place it at the beginning and play it solo (maybe nylon guitar would be nice) for three or four bars, that would be a nice mellow intro. Sometimes the simple things can elude us. Good luck. Nice song.

I can play it on the guitar but need some direction on how to play it on the piano.

I recently saw Karla Bonoff in concert. She's still quite good.
