Best sustain pedal to buy? (Preferably one that won't slip)

If you take a sustain pedal as circled in the picture above and turned it 90 degrees it won't slip. Don't ask me why, but it works.

I use my foot pedal on carpet but it still "walked". I took it's rubber feet off and stuck strips of double-sided Velcro Hooks. The hooks do a reasonable job on carpet but would be useless on any other floor surface.

Forget bungees, carpets, velcro, duct tape.

By far the cheapest and most effective solution is this.

Grip Mat, mine cost £2 off Amazon and I have used it for years.

I cut a small piece of non-slip from under one of our throw rugs and it works well to keep the sustain pedal from sliding across the carpet. I have not tried it on hardwood or other smooth floor, but I think it will work and it is very easy and inexpensive to try out.
