Hi Gary, I figured it out, I think......I turned the control knob "D" on the Ferrofish up through all its numbers until it displayed a dash indicating "off 2 I assume. And now it seems to work ok, and ignores any changes made in the Yamaha when going say from strings to piano etc. So it keeps the Made in Japan setting.
So far so good, now I need to figure out how to get the Yamaha Channels split into Midi and CP330, and that way I wont have to keep the Ferrofish turned down through my mixer, I may have to get help from Yamaha on this as again the manual is pretty poor.
