HELP PLEASE Kurzweil PC1 x not rebooting

HI there
I had to change the battery today, which I did. but now every time i switch on the PC! it waits for scanner, then says Welcome to the PC1x V2.02 and then it just sits there....it will not go back to the synth sounds as it always does

Can anyone please shed some light on why this is hppeneing and what I can do?

You messed up. Unplugged something or reversed polarity.

Maybe an easy fix, maybe a boat anchor.
