If I had a real Hammond B3, I wouldn't want to use a computer editor instead of the actual drawbars and other front panel controls. It would be slower/harder rather than faster/easier. Same on the Ferrofish, for the most part. Would you really want to do data entry on a screen instead of just moving the drawbar to where you want it? I'm not saying an editing function would be entirely useless, just that it's not nearly as useful as it would be on other boards.
For a reference you might relate to, the Korg PA700 Songbook Editor is kind of in between. You can use it to re-order things and also edit song settings, but you can't actually edit any of the parameters of any of the sounds. Sound editing still has to be done on the board itself. It doesn't make the editor useless, though.
