I have done far more complicated things, yet for some stupid reasons I have no experience in MIDI mapping. Maybe I have to start playing around with that Yamaha MFC 10 to get the MIDI CC messages CC1, CC2, CC12 and CC13 to the Tyros3 mapped.

My setup is the following:

Now I'm using the MFC10 only for the expression pedal.

So look at your MFC manual and whatever method they give you to assign the correct CC values you want to the controller. Whatever function matches with the Tyros.

This is where I'm not sure how to connect the MSF10. Can I leave it connected as shown on the diagram above? Because now I use the MSF10 merely for the expression pedal. If I now implement changes, maybe I lose the expression peda control?
