The first time I ever saw or heard of one was 3 years ago when Walk Off The Earth used it in a different song.

So far they're the only commercial players I've seen using one.

These guys are great for oddball instruments.

Here they are using Whippy Tubes.

And here's the first time I saw the Harpejji.

Here's another one with percussive tubes.

Here they are on a triple necked Brazilian Guitar.

These guys are brilliant multi instrumentalists and well worth following on Youtube. :)

BTW, the singers in the first video I posted are married to each other and have two healthy kids. You can really see the emotion in their love songs. :)

Gary ;)

PS. And they're a Canadian band out of Ottawa, natch ;)

If I had to compare them to anyone else I'd say they were a Canadian version of OK Go, except these guys actually play their instruments on camera :D

I liked the asian influence of smooth criminal with a little jethro tull thrown in lol. Nice discovery Becky. Seriously as Gary said better than Jacko's version. Makes me wanna check out more like this.

That last clip reminded me of one of my primary school teachers. I'd never really thought about it until today, but she had an autoharp which she would bring to class, and us kids would sing along to different songs.

I was too young to appreciate what a cool instrument that was at the time. I've never seen one since.

If someone can play all the parts of Bohemian Rhapsody simultaneously on an autoharp that would blow my mind :)

To be honest though, it was the Tears for Fears cover on the hammered dulcimer that really got my toes a tapping :D

The muppets are a tick . . Class act:D
But the last clip of 18 weirdest is all hear say. There is no music for us to hear and judge. None of those 18 produced any sound. Most disappointing!
That is disqualified lol.

Don't look at them as incompletes Ray. Look at them as assigned research projects.

If you want to hear how they sound look them up.

I leave the rest to you on assignment :D

Gary ;)
