Keyboard for jamming maybe gigging

I'm a drummer turned bassist and now moving onto keyboard.

Looking for a keyboard that I can eventually jam with.

Playing rock/pop/chart.

Budget is £2000 to £3000

Tempted with a Nord Stage 3 (used)

What's your opinion please guys?

I only have a digital piano at home and don't have any experience with keyboards.

You have a healthy budget there.

I see through the £ that you are probably in the UK, in which case do visit a few Music Stores, one in particular is PMT in Manchester where they have a vast selection of keyboards on open display.

Do also watch some of the tutorial videos that are available on the Manufacturers website or Youtube Channel, I’m talking of Tutorials not reviews. You will get a better idea of how and where to access features in the often extensive menu systems when you go armed with some knowledge.

If you do visit give the shop a call first as they may have the keyboard in stock but not set up.
