Suggestions....Amplification section

Yes. This may be covered in other sections, but there seams to be a need to catch amplifier needs for all of us from learning phase to performer in bands or solo. We all need to plug in as we can't live by headphones alone.

Yes, I agree. [ I'd ask thoughts as to how you would structure the topic, ie consider breaking down this topic into subgroups, along the concept of maybe "package amplifiers" and "powered pa speakers" . Or should it just be one category ie, "Stage Amplification" ? (Or maybe "Stage Monitors" ?) We have the "Studio" category which covers studio monitors, and headphones. Do In Ear Monitors (IEM's) fit into a category ? "Amplification" can cover a wide range of territory.] Maybe "Amplifiers, Powered Speakers, IEM's ?

Why don't we just call the section "Audio Output and Amplification?"

That pretty much covers the whole range.

Audio Output and Amplification.
A place to discuss speakers, amps, PA and other gear attached to the keyboard to make it audible to cats, dogs and other music lovers.

Looks like there's some support for this new category - although I don't think we've had many amp threads so far, unless I've missed them? I'm happy to trial it out if there's broad support for this .
