Hi,

I have a Casio wk-7500 which, if you do a little googling, is known to have issues using the sustain pedal correctly. It's a long story, but I also have an M-Audio controller as well, so my question is: How can I setup Cubase 5, or any other software really, to recognise the sustain pedal plugged into the M-Audio as a trigger for sustain when I use the Casio?

Hopefully that makes sense...

Cheers
J

Easy answer. You don't... Just get two pedals and stomp em when you need em. ;)

Tricky answer: In cubase set up the M-Audio as the controller for the DAW and set up the WK as the output for each track. In theory it should respond with the M-Audio acting as controller for the WK including the pedal.

If that doesn't work for you, try checking your configuration in cubase to see if the pedal CC# is configured for the M-Audio or not.
