Sam Ash stores closing

For those who haven't heard yet, Sam Ash Music are closing 18 stores. https://www.thegearpage.net/board/i...-manhattan-a-bunch-of-others-closing.2541525/. Unfortunately, my local store in Clearwater, FL is one of them.

This might be a bargain opportunity for some in the market for equipment.

I hate to see this. Reminds me of the beginning of the end of record stores like Tower Records. All things must pass as they say. Is the future, one of buying instruments on line without playing them?

Seems like it, unless you can find a local privately owned store but probably wouldn't have a large inventory.
